The Last Days

While it may not be the first thing on your mind when you wake up, the topic of The End Times has likely found its way to the forefront of your thoughts on more than one occasion. How should I live in anticipation of the end times? When will the end times occur? Are current world events a sign of the end times? After all, Jesus’ very own disciples asked him the same type of questions over 2,000 years ago…

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”  Matthew 24:3-4 NKJV

Isn’t it profound that when asked for a blueprint of the end times, Jesus replied, 'Take heed that no one deceives you'? So, therein lies our answer: we must be anchored in Christ and vigilant to guard against deception, with the Word of God as our greatest ally.
